Built from a Thrall mill gondola design, this model features accurately sized proportions along with sharply molded ribs and rivets that closely represent details found on prototype photographs and official drawings.
  • WalthersProto HO 65' Thrall Mill Gondola Burlington Northern - 568154 includes factory-applied grab irons and ladders installed as separate detail parts for an authentic appearance. The underbody features separately applied brake components and piping, adding additional detail that can be appreciated from different viewing angles. These gondolas represent prototypes that remained in service from the 1970s through the modern era, making them suitable for a variety of era-specific freight consists.
  • The model is equipped with ultra-smooth rolling metal axles and 36" scale metal RP-25 contour wheels for dependable operation.
