The WalthersMainline HO Scale Alco RSC-2 is an accurate model of the six-axle Alco locomotive designed for lighter rail found on branch and secondary lines.
  • Essentially a modified version of a four-axle Alco RS-2, the RSC-2's six axles spread the locomotive's weight more evenly along lighter track. First built in 1946, the 1,500 hp Alco RSC-2 hauled freight and passenger trains and even served in yard switcher duty through the 1950s into the 1970s. Accurately sized, this WalthersMainline model captures the distinctive details of the RSC-2, including its long trucks and authentic Alco styling.
