  • The Walthers HO 90' Single-Track Through Girder Bridge kit is based on one of the most common North American railroad bridge designs and brings authentic steel bridge detail to HO Scale layouts. Part of the Cornerstone® Engineered Bridge System, this model is designed to work with compatible system abutments and bridge piers. Through plate-girder bridges have been used for decades to span short distances, typically from 30 to 90 feet (9.1 to 30.4 meters), making them ideal for crossing highways, waterways, and other railroads where additional clearance is needed.
  • The Walthers HO 90' Single-Track Through Girder Bridge represents a bridge constructed from multiple steel sections riveted together to form the main girders. It is called a through type because the track passes between the girders rather than on top of the spans. The kit can be built as a single-track bridge and includes an optional center girder for easy conversion to double-track or a wider right-of-way by combining kits.
  • The bridge can be built with either an open or ballasted deck and is ideal for use with Walthers Code 83 Bridge Track 948-83004 or other trackage of your choice. Authentic rivets and other fine details add realistic character, while the molded dark gray plastic provides an appropriate foundation for finishing.
