Riser Sections are designed to provide a consistent-height support solution for model railroad layouts and scenery construction. Each section measures 2 1/2 inches wide by 24 inches long, making them useful for creating elevated areas, grades, and other layout features. Their flexible construction allows them to be easily formed into curves while working with either plywood or foam bases.

When building a model railroad layout, creating consistent elevations can help establish different levels and provide a foundation for track and scenery. Riser Sections can be flexed to follow curved areas of a layout, giving hobbyists flexibility when developing their track plan and terrain. They can be positioned on compatible plywood or foam bases as part of the layout-building process.

To install the sections, pin them in place using Foam Nails and secure them with Foam Tack Glue™ or a Low Temp Foam Glue Gun and compatible Glue Sticks. This installation method allows modelers to position the sections before permanently securing them, making it easier to make adjustments during layout construction. Using the appropriate adhesive and fastening products can help maintain the intended position while the layout is being developed.

Riser Sections are a practical component for hobbyists creating elevated track areas, curved sections, and multi-level scenery. Their constant height and flexible design provide useful options for shaping a layout according to the desired track plan. With a 2 1/2-inch width and 24-inch length, Riser Sections offer a convenient size for incorporating elevation changes into both new and existing model railroad projects.
