Based on steel water towers commonly found in small towns, major cities, and industrial facilities, this Walthers Cornerstone kit adds an instantly recognizable structure to modern railroad and community scenes. The completed model stands 9-1/2 inches (23.7 cm) tall and has a diameter of 3-1/8 inches (7.8 cm), making it an impressive vertical feature on the layout.

The Modern Water Tower represents the important role these structures play in maintaining consistent pressure within underground water supply pipelines during periods of peak demand.
