Withers Publishing is pleased to announce a new book covering BNSF’s first decade, 1995-2005. Volume 1 details the merger of Burlington Northern Railroad and Santa Fe Railway into a single entity. It is the story of how it phased in a combined route and guaranteed service schedules for its customers. Volume 2 will cover the consolidated locomotive fleets, adding new models and retired aging veterans; and selected a corporate image to adorn its huge fleet of equipment.
