Featuring a 470uF capacity, the Soundtraxx Current Keeper III provides approximately 0.5 to 0.75 seconds of backup power, depending on the locomotive, decoder, motor load, lighting, and overall operating conditions. This short-term energy reserve helps bridge brief interruptions, allowing your train to continue running smoothly through areas where electrical pickup may be inconsistent.
