Walthers N Urban Steel Overpass

Walthers N Urban Steel Overpass is a highly detailed Cornerstone kit designed to combine roads and railroads in realistic N Scale scenes. Based on common steel overpass designs used from the early 1900s onward, this structure reflects the growing need to replace busy grade crossings as automobile traffic increased. Many similar overpasses remain in service today, making this kit a versatile choice for modeling commercial, industrial, and residential areas.

The Walthers N Urban Steel Overpass builds a double-track railroad bridge with a ballasted deck and a two-lane roadway passing underneath. It provides approximately 15'6" (4.7m) of overhead clearance between the roadway and the side girders of the bridge deck, making it suitable for detailed urban and railroad layouts.

Highly detailed girders, beams, and columns feature scale rivets molded into the medium-gray plastic, adding authentic structural details to your scenery. Separate wing walls are included and can be installed for either straight or angled configurations, allowing you to adapt the overpass to different layout designs and track arrangements.

With angled wing walls, the completed model measures approximately 7-1/4 x 5-1/2 x 1-13/16 inches (18.5 x 14 x 4.5 cm). With straight wing walls, it measures approximately 5-15/16 x 6-1/2 x 1-13/16 inches (15 x 16.3 x 4.5 cm).
